Ask Questions on the caGrid Community Forums

The primary avenue to obtain support is by accessing the caBIG caGrid Knowledge Center forums. Either a community member or a caGrid Knowledge Center staff member will respond soon. To access the forums:

  1. Request a Knowledge Center account

  2. Subscribe to the forums
    If you would like to be notified about posts created by others in the caGrid Community, subscribe to the forums. You can learn how to subscribe at the following link: How to receive notification of new forums posts.
  3. Ask questions

Note: If you are new to the forums, peruse the "Read First" announcement in each forum to ensure you are posting in the appropriate forum. Alternatively, please refer to the descriptions below for each forum.

Forum Descriptions

  1. General Discussions: This forum is designed for non-technical discussions about caGrid. High level and broad questions about the purpose of caGrid, caGrid use cases, and caGrid deployments are the types of questions that should be posted in this forum.
  2. Technical Discussions: This forum is designed for technical discussions about caGrid. Questions about the design and architecture of caGrid and questions about how to use caGrid APIs to Grid-enable your applications are the types of questions that should be posted in this forum.
  3. Security: This forum is designed for any and all caGrid security questions. High-level security questions and specific security-related technical issues are the types of questions that should be posted in this forum.
  4. Community Projects: This forum is designed for questions about specific community projects. For example, questions about the purpose of a project, project features, and the process for becoming a project contributor are the types of questions that should be posted in this forum.
  5. Troubleshooting: This forum is designed for questions about specific caGrid issues you are encountering. Questions about caGrid software bugs, or bugs in your own Grid code with an unknown cause, are the types of questions that should be posted in this forum.
  6. Suggestions: This forum is designed for suggestions regarding caGrid, the caGrid Knowledge Center, or cagrid.org. Suggestions on any topic can be posted in this forum.
