Introduce 1.4 Downloads

Download other versions of Introduce.

Prerequisite Software

The following software is required to run Introduce:

• Java 6 JDK
• Ant 1.7
• Globus 4.0.3 with caGrid patches

The following software is recommended for development against Introduce generated grid services, but not required to utilize Introduce:

• Eclipse 3.x

Follow installation instructions for each of the software components. Then set the following environment variables:

• ANT_HOME (pointing to the root directory of the ant installation)
• JAVA_HOME (pointing to the root directory of the java installation)
• GLOBUS_LOCATION (pointing to the root directory of the Globus installation)

Add ANT_HOME/bin and JAVA_HOME/bin to your environments PATH variable

Extensions

The Introduce release comes with no extensions installed.

If you would like a version of Introduce that includes all extensions by default, please download and install caGrid. The caGrid installer installs all Introduce extensions that come packaged with caGrid.

If you would like to see a list of extensions and information on how to get the, please simply click the "Help" menu and select the "Introduce Software Update" button or read a review. This will show you a list of available extensions and enable you to install them.
