Training Grid
Overview
The Community Training Grid offers a "playground" environment (with little to no policy) for the purpose of technology evaluation, testing, development, and learning. It is intended to be a near mirror image of the caBIG Production Grid.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to get support.
Grid Policies
This is an open caGrid deployment provided for all members of the caGrid community. Feel free to register services with the Index service, create groups in Grid Grouper, and more. You should be able to do anything you need to as a Grid service developer.
Because this Grid is maintained by The Ohio State University, we do restrict overall Grid administration. However, you can become an administrator or specific sections of Grid services, i.e., Grid Grouper stem admin. To request administrator access, please e-mail knowledge@osu-citih.org
If you have specific requests regarding the Training Grid (such as a certificate invalidation request), please contact the caGrid Knowledge Center, the group responsible for Training Grid maintenance.
Notes on specific access to all Grid services are noted next to each service that is available on the Grid.

Core Grid Service Information
caGrid 1.4 Community Training Grid Information
The design of caGrid is such that one need not hard code the addresses of services, as each running service registers itself to the Index Service. Registered services can then be discovered programatically. In this sense, the Index Service is really the only service for which a "well known address" is needed. However, in some cases it may be useful to know the address of core services. The training deployment of the core caGrid infrastructure services are:
