Starting the Globus Container

We now need to open a terminal and start up the grid service container to make our service available.

• Open a terminal and change directory to the globus locations bin directory and start the container with no security.

%> cd %GLOBUS_LOCATION%\bin

%> globus-start-container -nosec

• Once the container comes up you will be able to verify that the service was loaded properly by seeing it the list of services available as shown below.
